Jacko Koster new director of UNINETT Sigma

Jacko Koster (39) has been appointed as the new director of UNINETT Sigma and project manager of NOTUR II, starting November 1, 2005. Koster's previous job was at UNIFOB, where he led the HPC activities at Parallab. He is originally from The Netherlands, has a PhD in informatics from Inst. Natl. Polytechnique de Toulouse, and has a wide experience from The Netherlands, UK, and Norway.

Bjørn Hafskjold, who has led UNINETT Sigma in an interim period, will return to NTNU at the end of his leave of absence.
