Advanced user support: call for applications

The Notur project has announced a call for applications for advanced user support. Advanced user support aims at helping scientists to improve or extend the computational performance and capabilities of their applications. This can be in a number of ways, including code parallelization, porting, optimization, benchmarking, improving user-interfaces, and software development. A main aim is also to achieve a better utilization of the (expensive) supercomputer facilities. Advanced support is directed towards users that have very demanding applications but also towards beginning users that require help that goes beyond regular user support services. Users can apply for advanced support by sending an application to the Notur project. Deadline for application June 21, 2006.
