2007-04-26: New partnership for Advanced Computing aims to secure Europe's supercomputing futureEuropean researchers will soon have access to the world's biggest computers, thanks to the new initiative 'Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe'. The initiative brings together the supercomputing centres of 15 European countries, with the goal to strengthen European science, engineering and supercomputer technologies. At a ceremony in Berlin on April 17, the partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the new initiative. The full press release in Norwegian is available here. |
